| 152354 | 2003-06-13 11:42:00 | Hi folks, I know how to print only the selected part of a document, but is it possible to select 2 or 3 portions of a document and print as one page? I was thinking of a keyboard shortcut to select the 2nd portion while retaining the already selected portion above it. Something like Ctrl while clicking and highlighting. I know I could cut and paste, but I thought this might be easier. Thanks all. |

| 152358 | 2003-06-13 21:13:00 | What program and version are you using? In Word XP, 2003, and I think perhaps even Word 2000 you can select different parts of the document, and then you can Print Selection. Mike. |

| 152359 | 2003-06-13 21:15:00 | Hmmm... okay I was wrong - although you can select multiple parts of the document, you can't print selection. But because you can select multiple parts you can just copy once and into a new document then print. Mike. |

| 152363 | 2003-06-14 16:06:00 | The reason I started this thread was, I have another thread with 22 replies about fixing an off site computer, and I need to take some of the replies that look like they might work, with me. I tried all the suggestions above, and the only way I could achieve a printout of the relevant replies from the 22, was to open a new document then copy and paste the ones I require. All other methods resulted in copying all the useless info as well. Thanks for your suggestions lads. |
