And, I have a multimedia keyboard which came with installation disc, now it loads an advertisement type page just before I log on..is there any way of removing this at all, as it adds another 30 seconds to my startup..thank you in advance... | amazon (3976) | ||

Definitively No. People consider their e-mail addresses as a privacy issue, and any such list would be "harvested" by all the e-mail marketers who create the obnoxious "spam" that pervades the web. You need to identify the program that runs to start this, it will likely have an option to turn off the "splash" screen. It should be identifiable from the Startup folder, but depends what version of Windows you are using. |

Try Ad-Aware & Spybot That should remove that ad, do a search on Press f1 & you can find out where to download them :) |
