| 152799 | 2003-06-18 22:22:00 | This is truly amusing.... I appear to have fixed "prat" (yes i gave the machine an appropriate name) How.. you may ask??? I threatened it with a copy of redhat9 in the CD rom.. It booted up and gave a message that windows had found errors and fixed them. It would appear that "prat" is truly afraid of change.. .....will update to say just how long this machine behaves under threat of the dreaded LINUX DISK .Chris |

| 152800 | 2003-06-18 23:14:00 | try the hp recurvey cd as hp use very strange hardwere & win 98se dosen't have corect drivers for some of hp mother boards ect. I've been there before & it don't work A long time learning I got another mother board & proseser in the end hp runs there own limited virison of win 98 & you can't hp virison on any other computer A friend of mine has had the same thing with a compact computer sleghammer the mother board & rebuild with the rest | Stick (204) | ||
