| 152639 | 2003-06-15 09:39:00 | Hi Billy, I have been using IE6 for many months now on a Win98se PC, without any problems. It just installed over the IE5. But, as Susan recommends, should we try Mozilla ? |

Sure it may be standards compliant, but only for half of the standard. It also has a lack of frames support, that could be good thing ;) The W3 is even thinking of giving up on it as Mozilla is more compliant than it is. |

| 152647 | 2003-06-17 09:25:00 | Well, I have just downloaded Mozilla Firebird and am immediately getting messages that the version I have got is "old" and would I like to update ? 'They' say I need version (1.4, I think it is). Two minutes 'ownership' and out of date - surely not ! Should I try another site ? I run Windows ME (I am ashamed to admit). Misty :8} |
