It was a secondary partition in Win2K..
Just right-clicked on it and chose Format...
I could have done NTFS also.. Ive had a 50 Meg partition NTFS before :-)

The other method suggested - partitioning and formatting after booting from the installation CD - also works.

Allow time to locate and read the instructions plus time to install. Do only if you are interested otherwise keep with the familiar method.
