| 152667 | 2003-06-15 03:48:00 | Does anyone know of a Web browser compatible with the Palm VX (free if possible) or does anyone have a copy of a free browser they could send me? Also an e-mail programme. I have a Palm modem which the Vx clips into and I can connect to my ISP but need 3rd party apps above Cheers and thanks in anticipation |

Ron Nicholson's PalmOS Computing General Information Page ( . nicholson . com/rhn/palm/" target="_blank">www . nicholson . com) is great, and will give you links to the others such as palmgear, handango . . . djajic ( . djajic . com/) , and the palmarchives (http://www . palmpilotarchives . com" target="_blank">www . djajic . com/) , and the palmarchives (http:) are useful . the Palm company (http://www . palm . com), too . Apparently browsing is in the category of "possible", but not very useful . The usual approach seems to be to use a desktop as a proxy, to strip off a lot of the HTML and scripting stuff . Have fun . I've got an 8MB CF full of stuff I'm playing with . :D |
