2013-05-09 21:51:00 | Have just installed Win7 x64 to this iMac A1312, everything works fine but there's no sound output. Device Manager says 'High Definition Audio' looks ok without any yellow exclaimation mark. Hardware id : HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_1013&DEV_4206&SUBSYS_106B1800&REV_1003 Anyone knows where I can download the correct audio driver? Cheers.

2013-05-09 22:02:00 | have you checked for updates using windows 7? its pretty good at finding basic drivers needed to get sound etc. Otherwise go to the manufactures site of the sound card they should have drivers to download there.

2013-05-09 22:04:00 | These drivers may or may not work www.filehippo.com or direct from Realtek www.realtek.com (http:) Vista and W7 use the same driver. | wainuitech (129) | |
2013-05-09 22:17:00 | BK did you install the drivers on the Mac cd? | nedkelly (9059) | |
2013-05-09 22:18:00 | wainutech: I have tried your links - won't work kmanz: Windows update has no drivers. It could be using Cirrus Logic CS4206A (AB 24) driver but I couldn't find any where to download this driver.

2013-05-09 22:28:00 | BK Try the original iMac cd on Windows, when I was dual booting xp and 10.6 there were drivers on there. | nedkelly (9059) | |
2013-05-09 22:31:00 | Those are cirrus logic not realtek drivers. They're in the Bootcamp 5 file from the Apple site. That ID is listed in the cs420x_43 setup information file (which is part of Bootcamp 5). I've got the bootcamp file here. Altho I dont think you want to download a 560mb file just to install a 561 kb file lol. If you install teamviewer on something I can send the smaller file to you

2013-05-09 22:53:00 | I have tried the original DVD (that's my first thing I did) but didn't work. Downloaded a driver pack for macbookpro and it works. -- strange. It's all working now. :) Anyway, thanks for all your inputs.
