1340139 2013-05-07 20:58:00 I'm having problems with a window which keeps appearing when I am on the Internet. Mozilla is refusing to transfer me to another page (thank goodness!).

The web-page trying to open is http:// www.lnksr. com

It is so annoying, having my reading constantly interrupted by this page appearing. Can anyone help me to get rid of it for all time? Please help!

1340145 2013-05-08 14:21:00 Yes, Jen, I have scanned the computer (took three days!) and the report said there was nothing wrong. Gary67, what you say sounds possible as I think it happened just after an automatic update. What do you suggest that I should do about it? I do hope that there is something that I can do. 1340146 2013-05-08 20:37:00 go to options- advanced- network-settings and select no proxy gary67 (56)
1340147 2013-05-08 22:38:00 Try disabling all addons, and see if the problem still exists. Nick G (16709)

arstechnica.com Article about servers getting compromised, one of the effects for end users is: "Cdorked-infected servers are also advanced enough to distinguish among different computing platforms used by end users visiting infected sites. Those using Windows machines are directed to sites that mostly host exploits from Blackhole."
