| 1339747 | 2013-05-05 08:23:00 | Hey, is there any way to make excel display time in hrs/mins and using that value to calculate pay? Ie someone worked 4hrs 35min @ $10p/h = $45.83 In excel i would normally have to write it as 4.58 hours. Is there anyway to convert it so i can write it as 4.35 hrs? Thanks! |

| 1339749 | 2013-05-05 08:32:00 | Hey yep i tried that. So if i type 3.25 and format as h:mm it shows up as 6:00 and in the formula bar it shows 3/01/1900 6:00:00 a.m. If i type 3:25 it shows up as 3:25:00 a.m.? |

| 1339750 | 2013-05-05 09:28:00 | Hi - just tried it by entering the time as 4:35 I then multiplied it by 24 (because excel treats the 4:35 as a percentage of a day) then by $10 and got the answer $45.83 as you had in your original post Trev |
