| 1339732 | 2013-05-05 07:06:00 | Hi everyone, I decided to move my 'Public' folder (Windows Vista) from its default location (C:/Users/Public) to a bigger partition of my hard drive (D:/Public). The reason for this was because I store all my movies & TV episodes in there in the 'Recorded TV' folder - as that is one of the only folders I can seem to 'see' from my blu-ray player when I want to stream video from my PC. The problem is, after moving it, I can't see it on my blu-ray player anymore and I've run out of ideas of how to do it. I have changed the directory junction using cmd in safe mode, with the following command: mklink /J C:\Users\Public D:\Public I've tried going through all the sharing settings etc but nothing seems to work. Am I missing something? |

If it's automatic it must scan the network and list all the shares that have the correct permissions set. So most likely at least read Share and NTFS permissions for 'Everyone'. |
