It looks to me like Total incompetency within the Police, matched by total incompetency within the Judiciary. Maybe the Justice Minister could bang the table and demand to know why it has taken so long before an intelligent Judge was found to deal with the matter appropriately. :groan: |

| 1315446 | 2012-11-03 05:23:00 | Wow, nearly two years... That's pretty pathetic. October: Jury trial, Crown re-lays charge with eight counts of indecent assault. After the father has given evidence, the father's lawyer applies for him to be discharged saying there is insufficient evidence, and the identity of the complainant in each charge is uncertain. The trial is halted and none of the defence witnesses called. Judge Behrens discharges the father. Sounds like someone is out with grudge or something. Whatever happened to the concept of faceing one's accuser? |

| 1315450 | 2012-11-03 23:42:00 | Interesting that it was a female detective who refused to interview witnesses who disagreed with her point of view. In my view she should be back on street patrol and not a detective for her behaviour there. Globe if you don't like B.M.'s post just stay away from them as you are getting boring always being negative about them. |

| 1315451 | 2012-11-04 00:19:00 | We've seen it all before with the Peter Ellis case....selectively reject all the interviews that dont agree with the preconceived guilt. | Terry Porritt (14) | ||
| 1315452 | 2012-11-04 00:30:00 | It certainly doesn't do the polices image any good. The A.A.Thomas case was the first one where the plod lost my respect. They have the power to completely stuff some ones life up so should be extremely careful as to how they wield that power. | mikebartnz (21) | ||

Michael in response to your well thought out comment, the chap to whom you refer is unable to make other than coruscating remarks, it is in his nature. |
