2013-06-06 11:38:00 | my mate has some dell laptop that costs around $500 and it can play LoL at minimum setting, bearing in mind thats at 30fps and LoL isnt exactly a gpu intensive game. | Slankydudl (16687) | |
2013-06-06 22:33:00 | The Lenovo has a much better graphics card for gaming but I like Sony better as a brand. I'd go the Lenovo but as already mentioned gaming will be ok at best on a laptop in this price range. take a look at this www.notebookcheck.net there are a lot of game benchmarks at the bottom

2013-06-07 10:20:00 | Either of them would work really. pbtech.co.nz funnily enough PB tech are having a sale on that exact laptop by the looks, starting tomorrow. That asus looks pretty tasty on their sale page too.

2013-06-07 22:32:00 | I believe I linked that MSI laptop in this thread a while back, great graphics card awesome for gaming, mediocre CPU - bold choice but it means it's a sub $2k laptop that will play most games at 1080P very well but occasionally won't have the CPU power to keep up in some titles. I believe it's the best gaming performance you'll get for the price, pity they don't offer it with a better CPU. www.youtube.com seems like it'll do the job

2013-06-08 07:55:00 | Does this have the AMD A10 5750m CPU or the 4600m? www.computerlounge.co.nz And how come the pictures are different on www.playtech.co.nz
LiMiT (16997) | ||
2013-06-08 14:26:00 | not sure about the pictures. That laptop on both sites lists the Amd A10, so I can only assume it's the same one on each. Seems alright to me, especially with that GPU.
