2013-05-08 06:44:00 | still $50 more than a 3.0 elements, yet all I want is the inferior 2.0 one. I'll keep looking for a cheaper one. | Vicx (11114) | |
2013-05-08 06:53:00 | The USB3 are backward compatible with USB2. Be careful buying "cheap" they are cheap because they are crap usually, get what you pay for and often fail due to poor quality.

2013-05-08 06:55:00 | like I said the 3.0 elements isn't compatible with my TV even if it is compatible with 2.0, so I specifically want a 1TB WD Elements in 2.5" USB 2.0 and nothing else. | Vicx (11114) | |
2013-05-08 07:02:00 | So the problem is the TV not the drives :D | wainuitech (129) | |
2013-05-08 07:05:00 | yes I confirmed that in my 2nd post, enough. | Vicx (11114) | |
2013-05-08 08:04:00 | You can always look at Transcend StoreJet , they do 2.5" USB 2 ---- 500GB and 1TB to quote the specs "High-speed USB 2.0 compliant and backwards compatible with USB 1.1 " If they don't work nothing will. And they are slightly cheaper than Western Digital. Note: Transcend StoreJet have two version USB2 or USB3
