| 1314936 | 2012-11-26 19:00:00 | Oooooh yeah the DayZ mod for ARMA2 is awesome :D I've got back into LOTRO a bit in the last few months. I left it initially for SWTOR but didn't really like SWTOR's "Any class fits any purpose" where you have a heavy armour tank that deals high damage and heals. It's stupid. Crafting was also a very "hollow victory" when I'd just send a companion out to do 100% of it and no actual "hard grind" myself. Same for making money off crafting, I was loaded just by making certain gear for Lvl10 players. Like *loaded*.... And I was only around Lvl 25 myself. So I quickly lost interest. LOTRO on the other hand has begun to bring back some of the grind, and add value to it. Now at the Festivals, not everybody has the same mount afterwards because they doubled the time taken for it, so you really feel like you've accomplished something when you earn it. I slogged away for 10 hours straight one day to earn a "Title" for my toon during one of the Festivals. It was worth it! :D It's also a real fun game that stays relatively close to the main storyline (Kinda runs in parallel to it) and it's going to gain a lot more traction too with the launch of The Hobbit! Free to play, and you can easily get right up to Level 50 without paying for anything. From there you'll arrive at Moria and probably be keen to fork out a few bucks at that stage, or start another toon. If you do jump on, I'm on the Silverlode server. |

| 1314940 | 2012-11-26 22:19:00 | Actually Chill I have two life-time accounts on LOTRO, I was heavily into it for a long while. Arma2 is a little to FPS for me Trev great games played them to death thou. DotA2 Never really grabbed me, I did try it. Diablo finished (played through a few times, can't see myself hitting 60 with any char thou too repetative), played Skyrim and lost interest in it. Fate looks a little too cartoony. |

"Then there is no pleasing you . . . " - Goldmember ;) Have you tried the DayZ mod for Arma2? It's amazing . If you want a challenge because - it's hard, when you die you lose everything, not only watching out for Z's but for Bandits (real players that will kill you for stash) . The map size is HUGE . . . plus playing with your friends makes it a lot more strategic . . . as apose to your everyday FPS . I'm going to have 2 weeks off over xmas new years and will (unless I go up north for holiday) be gaming all day :) DotA 2 and DayZ . |

| 1314943 | 2012-11-26 22:47:00 | No actually I don't want a challenge. I want a game I can enjoy without frustration, like Mass Effect :) My Kingdom for a Mass Effect or Dragon Age. PS Yeah I am very picky, which is why I have this problem I guess. |
