1314611 2012-11-25 03:49:00 Whoops, sorry I did'nt quite read all that. Yes, inside the body of an original component is fine.

I also note the comment about the heading. Too late now, but is in mind for next time.

I guess Im looking for a personal referral here as this gear has cost me some money over the years & I dont want anything less than perfection...

Easy, isn't it! LOL

Best,..Rob
Good luck.
With a good heading you will attract people who can more likely help. It is like a well word search always gives better results.
It might be in Billy T field as some one has already stated.

1314612 2012-11-25 04:06:00 Thanks all for comments so far..

As far as the language goes, I can read a tiny bit. Enough to decode the meanings of most things. The front panel tags are easy enough. In typical Germanic style, everything is extremely well engineered, & plugs will only fit the correct socket. eg You cant connect the headphones to the microphone socket.

if someone does come forward, I can assist with descriptions etc. There is also a massive amount of info on German radio in "Google-land" .. probably a 100 times what there is on Allied equipment.

Its just a matter of finding the right person.

PS I'll be at 10 posts in no time at the rate this is going !!lol

1314613 2012-11-25 04:13:00 BTW I do have the Vibrator power supply for the Torn Eb. This is the most common German receiver. Its got 7 bands covering 97 -6970Khz. I have another one on the water that also has its battery box. This is a slight variant of the one I have. (Earlier) The front panel got simpler as the war rolled on. Meters where omitted etc.

Best,.>Rob. I'll put up some pix when that gets here. (A while away yet)
