1314866 2012-11-28 23:01:00 That’s strange, I was thinking the same about you but I put it down to the Full Moon being on the rise and you experiencing the Resonance. :)

Clearly you are into “Red Herrings”, so it surprises me you haven’t introduced wind against tide or something else.

Anyway, the thread was about Fracking before you hijacked it to further your obsession with Ken Ring.

So, where were we, ah yes, I doubt that a 300mm hole would move a Tectonic Plate and thereby cause an earthquake. Therefore, I see that objection as being rather Alarmist. :)

I will just wait until the next time you mention the moon raising the sea 16 metres in the Bay of Funday

1314867 2012-11-29 01:03:00 The USA is now doing so much fracking that they are starting to be energy independent.

Manufacturing is moving BACK to the USA. (they now assemble flatscreen tv's there!)

All because of lower energy costs due to fracking technology.

So stuff the Geens and their wild accusations and lets get Fracking here.

The energy companies have been fracking for years!

Interesting you reckon its the cost of energy that's the reason manufacturing moved to and from the USA. I'd have thought it might have more to do with cheap labour in developing countries....

You’ll be waiting a while, because next time I’m going to mention the moon raising the tide at King Sound, Western Australia, by 11.8 metres and any argument you’ll be referred to the Nimanburu, Njulnjul, and Warwa tribes that live in the area and are the local authority on matters of this nature. :D

Au contraire....I am more than happy to be proven wrong, that goes along with the job :)

I just wonder if BM is able to estimate just how near the moon would have to be for its gravitational pull to be strong enough to pull the sea up by 16 metres ? All you need to do the back of envelope sum is to know that the moon at its present position would pull the sea up by about 0.5 metre in the absence of land masses. Would the gravitational force be strong enough to to pull the tiles off his roof, and would it be near enough to be able to see the man in the moon with the naked eye ? :banana

Would dropping a small tactical nuclear weapon down a 300 mm bore hole trigger a 'quake ?

If BM shouted loud enough down said hole, would that have the same effect ? :clap
