1340230 2013-05-08 02:28:00 Everytime I use CCleaner to clear history and files from my PC, CCleaner shows about half a GB of files removed from Internet Explorer.

Does Internet Explorer save more temp files than Firefox or what?

1340233 2013-05-09 04:51:00 well it depends on which browser you use more, and how it's stored, and what the cache limit is.
Some internet explorer temp files might be dumped there by other programs too sometimes.

1340234 2013-05-09 06:17:00 Index.dat files take up a lot (underline lot) of space, and are useless.

Also when I run CCleaner I make sure that I untick Firefox cookies. It is such a pain otherwise to go back and re-fix my settings on NZCity for instance ! Just a thought.
