152957 2003-06-16 09:31:00 first off can you plug you LP player into your computer??

if that is ok then you will need something like goldwave.

you will also need something like nero to burn the CDs.

have a search on this site because i think it has been asked bofore.

good luck

152958 2003-06-16 13:41:00 If you have Nero, there is a sound editor with it. Just plug your sterio into the sound card and the program will save it as WAVE files. You can then edit it, remove scratches etc, & convert to MP3. Mzee (158)
152959 2003-06-16 22:11:00 Gidday,

Two programs that will do this, one is Musicmatch, which is a freebie, I think it has a slow burn speed of cd's until you buy it. Media jukebox is the other, which is a 30 day trial.

to eliminate pops and scratches, a program called depopper will do
the trick.

good luck,

152960 2003-06-17 02:21:00 Have a look at some of the previous threads here. Enter "vinyl CD" to the "Search" function at the top of this page. Graham L (2)
152961 2003-06-17 06:07:00 It's an exhaustive process if you want good quality results. As Graham suggests, do a search here - I reported a summary of my brother's process and tribulations here some time ago. Greg S (201)
