I tried to do a system file check and as soon as I pressed start a message came up - System file checker cannot check the following folder because the volume is locked C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MACROMED\SHOCK7 I cannot do a SFC until I sort this out. When I entered the above in "Find Files and Folders" it said file name is invalid. What does it mean the volume is locked or how can fix the problem. OS 98SE Thanks Smithie |

| 152887 | 2003-06-16 06:28:00 | I havent encountered this directly before, but this article (www.pcmag.com) talks about locking and unlocking folders. I have a feeling it may just be related to the lock command in Windows for directly accessing a disk drive. |
