C:\WINDOWS\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Startup\

C:\WINDOWS\Start Menu\StartUp

Why three of them? Are they equivalent, redundant, confusing?

with thanks e2818

153396 2003-06-19 09:47:00 They all have their purpose and can be quite useful if you regularly use the same programs/tasks each day. They are all pretty self-explanatory - All Users is what starts up for all the users on your PC; Office is for Office apps that you want started up, eg the Office Toolbar; StartUp is for, um.... not sure on that one, but I think it may be for individual users. 153397 2003-06-19 12:07:00 Start Up in the start menu is where you can add programs you want to start when your OS loads for your account. mikebartnz (21)
153398 2003-06-19 12:09:00 Actually after reading the original post if they have not left out the Programs dir that will not do anything much. mikebartnz (21)
