153640 2003-06-19 12:27:00 Hi everyone,
I'm hoping this isn't too basic a question, but I don't know how to access the settings for items that start up automatically & thereby change them.
I can do this on my other computer, running Windows 98SE, by typing in
"msconfig" on the run command, but don't know what needs writing in Win 2000 - there are some really unnecessary things starting up on my Win 2000 that I would love to "kill"
Anyway, if there is anyone who can help, I would be very grateful.

Thank you.

153641 2003-06-19 13:15:00 Hi, all I done was flogged the msconfig file from XP and saved it in the root dir of Win2k, and that works well.

Or you can download Startup Control Panel which does the same as msconfig and its a nifty little app to have.
