Pro's and Con's if known PLEASE.........

153552 2003-06-19 23:17:00 Thanks for replying Susan.....I am using NORTONS 2003 ANTI VIRUS. AND DO NOT HAVE A FIREWALL ........LATELY I HAVE RECEIVED MORE VIRUS than usual but Nortons has protected me......so I am just wondering and would appreciate other views...... olldaddy76 (2539)
153553 2003-06-19 23:24:00 its proberly to early to tell if there is a conflict between ZAP4 and nortons as ZAP4 has only just been released.

why not try it (trail ver) and find out :)

153554 2003-06-20 01:09:00 Personally, I don't think I would bother paying for Zone Lab Pro 4 when there are other FREE firewalls available - assuming that it will cost you to get Zone Lab Pro 4, that is.

I would suggest, if you have Win XP, you create a system repair point and install the free version of ZoneAlarm, or maybe Outpost, and see how it goes. If it doesn't play nicely with Norton AV then it is very simple to just return your system to how it was prior to installing ZoneAlarm.

It is good to hear that Norton is earning its keep. ;-)
