Dunno about the webpage bit, but to send a message to the other computer (xp,2000) all you need to do is:

Start -> Run ->

Type in: net send computername hello how are you?

In the computername, just put in the computers name. This can be found in the properties of My Computer, under network identification tab.

153474 2003-06-19 05:20:00 Windows Media Video (WMV) or Real Media would be a better bet! Chilling_Silently (228)

153476 2003-06-19 06:15:00 OS doesnt matter too much in this scenario.. unless you're running Linux, then life would be easier if you chose Real Media.

Try looking up Real Producer, it should be a free download, although Im sure somebody from here has recommended a replacement for it made by some 3rd party also?

153478 2003-06-19 10:11:00 i would prefer divx myself. real is a pain, wmv is okish. don't use mpeg1 or 2 as its file size is to big for the quality. quicktime isn't to bad but i prfer not use use any codec that is proprietry. tweak'e (174)
