154069 2003-06-21 11:11:00 Hello all,

I am in a quest to finding the suitable download for my Intel Easy PC Camera model CS110. The Intel Create& Share Software which came with it was not working properly, etc. And was also NOT designed for Windows XP.

So... I'm trying to find a DOWNLOAD *free off course :D* that works for my OS which is Windows XP Pro,

Thanks in advance,

154070 2003-06-21 11:34:00 Do you have win XP SP1???? If you do then you will be able to run it under a different enviroment e.g. win 98 etc...

Have a look under windows help & see if it says any thing about that

navigate to support t>
download software & drivers>
then choose your cam from the menu on left. Your model is listed there with an xp driver.

154072 2003-06-22 00:03:00 Sorry, but I forgot to mention that I do have the driver, so the webcam is working. I'm only after the software which comes with it called Create and Share.

Thanks anyway,

154073 2003-06-22 01:57:00 Hi Sy, i've got an intel cam too ( i think it would be alot older than yours though going on model no.s). Anyway when i got mine xp had only just come out so i was in the same situation as you with the "Create & Share" software - however as soon as they brought out the xp compatible version, the company i brought the camera off sent out the new cd with the new version on it. Have you tried contacting the company you brought it off and asking them for the newer cd, as if you brought to install on xp they should have provided you with the new c.d when it came out. Would definately be worth a try anyway i think (contacting them). If all else fails, a friend of mine had his camera stolen and he may still have his cd laying around and i could possibly get in touch and check with him, but our cameras are Intel Pocket Pc Cameras cs630, but looking at my cd it looks like it would be o.k as it just says - Intel Create & Share Software - Installation cd for win 2000 & win xp. And i am using it with xp pro too. J ZEP (336)
154074 2003-06-22 05:47:00 No, unfortunately I brought it quite cheaply, thinking nothing should fail. The shop, LCQ Computers (http://www.lcqcomputers.co.nz) in Auckland does lack customer support, so I will have to find other ways. And I do not have SP1 installed either, *and won't be, please don't ask why:8}*

Is the file on the CD rom large, as I only need the software, thats all. Can't seem to find anywhere to download from.

Many thanks,

Yes, unfortunately the file is 300+MB in size, so far too big for me to upload for you :-(, I had looked at that prior to my earlier post, but thought as much, as there is a bit to the program. Yes, it does seem it isn't available anywhere to download from the intel site, only appears to be available on cd off them :-(.

154076 2003-06-22 09:38:00 Could I ask you for your MSN Messenger address or ICQ No. if you use it (for me to contact you)?

So, would you think the software is at all worth looking around for? Is it that good, I haven't used it, can you explain some special features?

Are you in North Shore, Auckland, if so... any possibility of me been able get a copy off you? Please....

Contact me here at syhyangathotmaildotcom (you should be able to work in out, take out words at and dot and replace with symbols ;-))
