| 153926 | 2003-06-21 04:22:00 | My first computer was from the PCCompany, and while my first recommendation is always to build it yourself if you can - around $1500 for the specs listed but that would have no software - I have found PCCompany to offer excellent service. The only problem I had with my machine, was when the ejector spring in the floppy drive bust, and they didnt even bother wasting my time by looking at it, they just replaced the drive, and it was even just outside of warranty period. They were also not bothered in the slightest with case fiddlers, no disclaimers regarding changing the system yourself in the warranty. Things could have changed since then, this was in 2000... but thats my 2c worth. Iain |

| 153928 | 2003-06-21 05:40:00 | how much was the pc you were planning to buy cost? | hazza (2704) | ||
| 153929 | 2003-06-21 06:06:00 | Bought this one,my first,off of them.And have been pleased with their backup. I'll still check out what they can supply,when I go to upgrade.They have a tower only option,which is probably what I'll be doing next,to keep costs down. Going to wait for LFT (?) prices to drop.And DVD recorders! What price, as hazza asked? |
