| 154110 | 2003-06-22 00:31:00 | Go with the 350Watt power supply. It will have the capability to supply sufficient power and the difference in price now is negligible. Also, you don't need a fan for intake as by adding an extra fan on the back blowing out of the case, as well as the power supply fan doing the same, natural air pressure doesa the rest. Also beware that all power supplies ae not created equal. Hyena mark the input power rating, not the output. The difference is, that comparing the hyena to standard, 300W comes down to 280W. My feelings are that you replace the power supply with a good one and you should be right. All that happened most likely would have been that your new vid card put extra strain on your power supply and made it fail earlier than normal. |
