| 153799 | 2003-06-20 09:58:00 | Hi, I been bitten with the Linux bug, and having read Geoff Palmer's recent article acquired mandrake 9.1. My system installed it easily, however I cant get the modem set up to stay working. Each time I want to connect to the internet I have to establish the connection using the mandrake control center configure. tool. Can anybody help me solve this problem. I have an ambient 56k external modem with an intel chip set. Thanks, Alan |
