| 154337 | 2003-06-23 01:59:00 | Any ideas please? Trying to install a game - Stuart Little 2- Installation works ok up until the install shield reaches 100% then nothing happens. I can hear the CD spinning in the CD drive, but this game won't install any futher. OS win 98. HP computer, 133mhz 56mb ram, plenty of hard disc space. I have defraged system. turned off all programme Icons on taskbar and suspended Antivirus. The CD installs and works fine in a friends computer with win ME Any suggestions! Ooh Yeh. |

| 154340 | 2003-06-23 04:01:00 | the program might be waiting for some input in a window which is being shadowed by another (u cant see it). try alt + tab to see if there are anyother open windows. read the manual and find the minimum system specs and see if your system is good enough otherwise it might be a error with your cd rom or cd rom settings. if possible you should try installing with another cd rom drive or copy all the files off the cd onto the hard drive and install off the hard drive. the only other explaination i can think of may be a bad CD. try cleaning it with some antistatic glass cleaner (sometimes i just use sunlight dishwashing liquid) try leaving it installing all night. worth a try ;) |
