154290 2003-06-22 22:25:00 I have used a Palm m30 for about 9 months with no problems synchronising to Microsoft Outlook 2002. However, recently it has started synchronising to data a week or so old - rather than incorporating recent changes. I had a password storage program on which I thought may have been the problem so deleted it to no avail.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Palm software and have also done a hard reset to remove everything but when I synchronise, it still brings up old data.
Can anyone help?

154291 2003-06-22 22:45:00 Sounds very strange. The date in the Palm is correct? Is it continuing to synch with week old data on a daily basis or is it just now a week out of date?

154292 2003-06-22 23:03:00 Yes the date is correct. It seems to synch with date "frozen" as it does not reflect any changes made to Calendar of even a month ago. Farfuluke (4072)
154293 2003-06-23 00:49:00 Check in the palm synchronisation log on the PC, following a hotsyc.
Any errors will be there and will usually give a reason.

154294 2003-06-23 01:17:00 The message I get I as follows

"Some handheld records were not copied to your PC. Your computer may be full or you may have reached the maximum allowed records on the desktop. To correct this situation, delete some records and perform a HotSync operation again.
Desktop = 196, Handheld = 190"

I have tried deleting some calendar items but nothing changes. I have over 500 names in my Outlook address book but this has been the case since day 1 and they have always copied OK to the Palm.

154295 2003-06-23 02:54:00 Sorry if question sounds basic, but you do have plenty of spare memory left in the Palm? godfather (25)
154296 2003-06-23 03:30:00 This is a very good question.
From Home, press menu and choose info.

154297 2003-06-23 03:46:00 Solved!!
I have plenty of memory but finally established that when I reinstalled the Palm software, I put it into a different folder than originally. Basic??!!So it seems that it was synchronisiing to back up data in the original folder. I have reinstalled it back into the original folder and all seems to be well now.

Thank you both very much for your help.
