154282 2003-06-22 20:05:00 I remember that somewhere in an old PC World issue, there was a note on making the num lock come on at bootup in XP. Can someome please reiterate this (and tell me which issue it was in)? SpiderVenom (1412)
154283 2003-06-23 00:51:00 I think there was a thread about it here on Press F1, do a search & you might be able to find it :) stu140103 (137)
154284 2003-06-23 01:53:00 Go Start | Run, type regedit browse to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Keyboard and change InitialKeyboardIndicators to 2 Kame (312)
154285 2003-06-23 03:07:00 If you are not comfortable with editing the registry, you may like to try this:

First, make sure that your CMOS setting has set the number lock to 'ON' and after you have started Windows XP, press the Num Lock key to turn on the number lock.

Re-start Windows XP and the number lock now should be 'ON' whenever you start Windows XP unless you manually turn it off again.

Cheers
