| 154785 | 2003-06-24 12:38:00 | Hi I am just wondering, my friend got a ADSL internet modem, if he wanna share the ADSL connection for 3 computers, does each computer must have its own address, it is start with 192.168. (0 or 1). x and subnet, primary and secondary DNS? wot about the main computer (the computer got the modem, is it just 192.168.(0 or 1?). 1??? Yeah and also there is one strange thing about his modem, I think he is using the ASUS motherboard, AMD Xthlon 2200 and using 512DDR Ram, whenever he is using Real Audio or playing games, his computer automatically disconnect his modem and this problem is happening regularly... alot of us thinks his motherboard is faulty because his other friend's computer with a pentium 3 600MHz is working fine Any suggestion? thanks alot jacky |

I suggest using programs like WinGate for connection sharing ...saves u the trouble. Hope this help. |
