| 154741 | 2003-06-24 08:57:00 | hi, i have a non-brand athlon xp 1700, win98 & roxio go back 3 - i can't seem to get into safe mode - press f8 at bootup, but goback always comes up too fast - without deleting it - any other way to get into safe mode? thanks all |

| 154744 | 2003-06-24 11:59:00 | Well I used to use goback, worked very well, nice program :) You can get into safemode easy enough. Theoretically GoBack starts well before any part of the Operating System is loaded. So as soon as the GoBack screen is gone, hit the F8 key quickly a number of times. That should bring up the menu. Failing that, go into your bios, make floppy start up first, then insert a boot disk. You should be able to boot the OS into safe mode from that. |
