154718 2003-06-24 06:17:00 Need 128 bit encryption for online banking access but even with latest OE6 with SP1 only have 56 bit. Have tried Microsoft site but this is massive download and Pacific Island ISPs are money gougers. How do I get 128 on my OE6 ? ? Yagi (4083)
154719 2003-06-24 06:26:00 I believe its a function of your operating system, which needs an upgrade patch. It determines the level of encryption, not just IE6.

I would guess you are using Windows 2000?
It will probably be a big download, perhaps someone can burn it for you to a CD and post it?

154720 2003-06-24 06:29:00 I remember when 128bit encryption first came out for explorer you could not get it for explorer outside the US.
Your explorer should already have it. Unless fiji is an "embargoed US destination".
Have a read here anyhow
