| 154502 | 2003-06-23 12:09:00 | I know this is a long shot, so here goes.. im trying to play an old game. Descent Freespace2 Whenever a video clip in the game plays it causes my computer to crash. my specs are duron 700 256 pc133 ram geforce2 mx200 windows ME not updated in any way. |

| 154505 | 2003-06-23 12:21:00 | Try this, (im not on a windows machine at moment so instruction may be a little wrong) right click on the executable file of descent freespace, and go to properties. There are a heap of tabs. There is a tab to turn off all the special feature when running the program e.g. alt-tab etc, turn these all off. Also a tab about memory, select the protected memory checkbox(might be a drop down menu). Generally have a play round with these settings. Sorry so vague, haven't used windows in a while. |
