| 154608 | 2003-06-25 04:29:00 | Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but i beleive that you can have an email account with Orcon even if you are not a member and like myself who uses them as my ISP, I get to keep the email address even if I leave to join another iSP. If this is the case, it would probably be worth having an email account with them and then later change ISP when it suits. No I do not work for them and am not affiliated with them at all, except that they are my ISP. Could someone confirm this? |

Is that what you mean????? |

Once you have signed up for your free email address, you get to keep it for life. And PoWa - we have a great special on domain names at present - $32+GST per year. Your family could consider registering a domain name, eg. smith.co.nz and we could set up a mailbox for each of you so you can have john@smith.co.nz, sally@smith.co.nz. The great thing about having your own domain name, is that it doesn't matter which ISP you're with, as your email address will always stay the same. Hope this helps |
