| 154748 | 2003-06-24 09:53:00 | Its me with my iMac again. If I am burning back up cds of some of my programs such as Adobe Photoshop 5 and Illustrator 8 do I just copy the appropriate folders, or do I have to go dig into the system folder and make copies of the extensions too? Please dont suggest that I just make copies of my program software discs because Ive lost them. Cheers :) |

When you install programs the correct way all the relevant files are placed in the right places. You will need to make sure they all go back again if you reinstall so it would be wise to do a File/Find and note where they all are. You might find some in System folder and Control panels as well. Preferences will be created when when you run the program so you can ignore those. |
