It works by when you send a request to a website, it goes through their servers first, and they then rewrite the websites code, removing your IP address, etc then they forward that page onto you. So in fact you are never really visiting the website, their computers are. If you're on dialup I wouldn't reccommend it. You've already got slow internet as it is :p - No need for any slower! So ya, you can't test it out to see if it works well with a keygen or something, because you have to have a login id, and pw to access their servers. At $29.95 for a year, thats not too bad. But I would prefer to use something like GhostSurf Pro, which doesn't rely entirely on internet explorer. |
