someone was selling it on trademe for $17...
and knowing linux is normally free...only postage...$17 seemed too much
so here i am hoping to get it cheaper...

155127 2003-06-25 22:50:00 Actually i dont think $17 is too bad a price for having 3 CDs burnt for you by a semi commercial operation.

There are a couple of people on this forum who had no quarms with paying $20 for a 7 CD set copied and mailed to them by me not that long ago.

That works out to be postage + disks rounded up to allow for wear on the CD burner, and maybe something for my time.

If the seller of 3CDs for $17 is allowing for time spent in the costing, then they are running a poorly paying sweat shop indeed!
(perhaps he/she/it is self employed? :p)
