| 154852 | 2003-06-25 09:45:00 | Peculiar Kiwitas, I went to update and was told that what I have is fully updated already. In the information tab it says that I have version 6.0.491. I do not know whether this last bit refers to the definitions but seems suspiciously close to the number you mention ie #492 - so guess it does. However in that case how am I not getting the latest download ?? ?:| I run Windows ME ( and proud of it - Jen C ! - is that better ?) :) |

| 154853 | 2003-06-25 09:57:00 | I have had the same problem with this: 492 & also with their last update 491. You can download the update from their site but it seems to take some time for it to bcome available using avg update manager. gerry |

I just d/loaded it directly to my Grisoft/Updates then when I opened AVG,it loaded without a reboot! Strange that it didnt load with Update Manager?but stranger things have happened when using a computer!;-) Cheers,Kiwitas,;-) |

| 154855 | 2003-06-26 09:06:00 | Just managed to download 1.4**.* Kb from Grisoft. My version now shows as 6.0.493 so even more updated. Maybe Kiwitas, your downloads come from Germany, say, and ours from Oceania or somefink. It could just be a simple thing that gives the time delay ! This from a newbie - I am willing to be shot down in flames !! B-) |
