| 155615 | 2003-06-27 06:17:00 | On odd occasions when I wish to purchase online (eg Norton antivirus upgrade ) , when I go to enter my credit card # , on typing the first digit , my full number suddenly appears for me to click below it , so obviously , this is stored somewhere in my system. (Win 98Se...OE v 6 ) This worries me. Where is it stored , and can I remove it ? Bernard Welford |

| 155618 | 2003-06-27 10:08:00 | Hi. I'd then clean out everything you can by using Windows Washer and Syder. Pretty sure there is a FAQ on PF1 written by Susan B or JM on how to completey eradicate such info stored on your comp or more specifically within windows .dat files. Cheers Murray P |

If not there then there is a small chance that your number and details could be intercepted anyway. Having said that I have done it many times with no issues |

However this rule isn't determined by the secure status of a page, rather the page designer. From my understanding it is a design flaw at that page to allow an auto complete box. Generally these are disappled (for security reasons obviously) I would alert symmantec of your finding |
