Must say its more fun here tho than watching the cats trying to figure out how to get their mits on/in it :D Chill out folks, having a rat in the lounge is much more serious so, as this is a help forum has any of you tech wizzes got any creative ideas re the rat? Cheers Murray P PS. Newbs welcome too :) |

| 155324 | 2003-06-26 12:37:00 | Well I must admit that I'm a little picky when it comes to using English as it were. Me..... Well I just log on to PressF1 and read questions. If I can't understand the question then I don't attempt to answer it. I can usually figure what is called a typographical error like typing "yhe" when you meant "the". After all the "t" and the "y" are close together on the keyboard aren't they!!!!???? I must really install more languages. :-) |

| 155329 | 2003-06-26 12:56:00 | Me.... I only deal with mice. The English language is not logical at all. 1 Mouse 2 Mice. 1 House 2 Hice... Or should that be houses???? Then of course we can get into words like "Bough" pronounced Bow as opposed to "Rough" which should be pronounced Row which seems to be going on here. Before we forget.... You have "Bow" which means bending in the middle and "Bow" which I would use to loose an arrow. Confused anyone??? T.V. doesn't help either! We get adverts like "Beanz means Heinz." I can forgive people putting "Baked Beanz" on their shopping lists. :-) Then we get the word "their".... Often confused with "there". I think I will shutup now!!!! :-) We, on PressF1, don't need to nitpick do we? |

| 155332 | 2003-06-26 13:08:00 | Bow Wow. What about route, pronounced root, which is what helps to hold up a bough and we use routers, pronounced rooters which are........ what pigs do when they root around (except for the yanks who blush at the thought). None of this has solved my rat (which rymes with cat) problem. The rat incidentally can't spell or use grammer correctly so doesn't give a rats ;\ Cheers Murray :P |
