| 155357 | 2003-06-27 00:53:00 | So, KInetD and the screensaver stuff.... I found one other thing last night.. but fixed it myself after googling for a few hours :-) I cant remember the 7th item though? Anyway, I tried downloading the latest version of KDE Desktop Sharing, but I've gotta fix a few dependancies before I continue. Screensaver is a blank.. Im in KDE 3.1-10 I think? Just the standard that comes with RH9 :-) Cheers Chill. |

| 155360 | 2003-06-30 11:29:00 | Ive run that command, thanks, I'll see if it fixes the ScreenSaver.. And as for that link, Ive seen it before on my search thru google, but it is of little use as it ends saying try getting VNC to go. Ive downloaded RealVNC and used that, using the --force option (It clashes with another package for the server) but I can only get a Window-Manager style interface.. not what I want! If I tried to specify :0 as the display, it comes up with a connection error, like if I were to try :3 when it doesnt exist! Any other ideas?? |
