155641 2003-06-27 07:32:00 Hi, Can anyone help me out quickly and easily? I am needing an AGP Video card for under $150, but what is the best for this dollar value? There are heaps out there, but can anyone recomend some good ones?
THANKs!

155642 2003-06-27 07:54:00 A Geforce4 MX 440 would probably wat u should be looking at . They are only selling for 90 dollars now, and it's decent enough if you are not a hardcore gamer . On the other hand, if you just fork out another 100 dollars or so, u can get a ti 4200 which is a hell lot better .

Make sure, u don't get the FX 5200/5600 , they are simply not worth the money, there performance is not much better than the MX 440 which is like 60 bux cheaper . The only difference is that they have Directx 9 support .

Hope this helps : )

155643 2003-06-27 07:59:00 I have a eagle geforce4 mx 440, does the trick for me, and easy to overclock. Plays all games sweet as not at amazing framerates though. They are around $120. rsnic (3780)
155644 2003-06-27 09:35:00 another vote for the mx440, nothing can match them in terms of value for money, and they'll play all modern games (as long as you keep the resolution down) sanchez (3445)
155645 2003-06-27 10:31:00 A decent amount of performance over the MX440 for a few bucks more ($150) could be had in an ATI Radeon, 128 MB DDR DVI 9000 Greg S (201)
155646 2003-06-28 05:24:00 A 2nd hand Geforce 256 or GTS Pro would be good enough make sure it ddr ram though kiwibeat (304)
