To Marty2001 - on #1 PC nothing came up under 'kbcad" so I shared a folder but still nothing, until I dis-abled Zone Alarm (thank you ResinMaster, you hit the nail on the head) and the shared file was revealed. Wonderful - my Sunday wasn't wasted after all. But what affect does this have on my Internet protection that I had with ZoneAlarm? KB. |

Thats great
now you just need to edit zonealarm to tell it to trust 192.168.0.2 (or 192.168.0.1) ie the PC that zonealarm is not on |

just a small thing to add.....i assume you are useing ZAF (zone alarm free), if you want ICS (internet connection sharing) to work you will need to lower the sicurity to medium or use a different firewall such as kerio. |
