| 156144 | 2003-06-29 10:11:00 | In rotorua, so maybe a rotorua resident would be better to answer this but if anyone knows it...i'd love your answer... tv...plugged in, had to re-tune it...got tv 1, tv 3, tv 4, geyserchannel, prime, trackside.... but, no tv 2..well i get it, but its like scrambled... does anyone know why this is happening? i re-tuned my tv 5 times or more in case it was a tuning error but no... if location could determine the problem...i'm within 5 mins walking distance of rotorua intermediate.... many thanks if anyone can help |

| 156146 | 2003-06-29 12:25:00 | Are you using an external antenna, and if so, have you looked around at other houses in the vicinity to see if yours is the same. Often, two aerials are required, one horizontal and another vertical. (I'm not in Rotorua though, just a possibility). Sorry can't be of more help. Cheers and good luck :) |

| 156147 | 2003-06-29 21:51:00 | its a external antenna,,, will go ask next door neighbour lata, but the weird thing is, if the antenna was stuffed, or the reception was bad, its 99% sure to affect tv1 more than the other channels, and rotorua is definatelyt in the region to receive tv2 transmission... i emailed tvnz to see if its the location, but no...location is fine :) mite go into a tv shop today and ask :) |
