| 156258 | 2003-06-29 23:21:00 | Hey Another friggin' linux question from your local linux idiot. I've got most of my things working now (after stress, tears, and a few other posts on PF1), however, I now the problem of Gaim not working with ICQ. I can receive messages OK from ICQ contacts, however, when it comes to sending I keep getting "host not found" errors. If I select "use server to send messages" or whatever that dinky little button is, then I don't get the errors, but my contacts still don't get the message. I have tried uninstalling the ICQ plugin from Gaim and reinstalling it to no avail either. MSN Messenger is still working okay for both sending and receiving as well. Any Idea's? CyberChuck |

It's kinda annoying in the sense that people think I'm either ignoring them because my replies aren't getting through, or the fact that they think I've just kept my PC on, but haven't changed the status to away again.
