| 1341563 | 2013-05-16 08:02:00 | Go to the manufacturer's site, see if there are any updates. Driver magician is pretty good. (http://www.drivermagician.com/) Altho it can pick up drivers that dont work as well. I found this out, when I downloaded one, and it stopped half way while it was installing. And hung windows when I went to shut down. So, I uninstalled it |

If everything is working drivers are best left alone, if they do need updating getting them individually from the manufacturers website is best. One possible exception is video drivers which I update regularly for the performance improvements. | dugimodo (138) | ||

Windows Update also tends to pick up graphics drivers so if everything is working, leave them alone. |

| 1341569 | 2013-05-29 08:54:00 | ok. the thing is because I got this email form Ashampoo showing this trial of Advanced Driver Updater. It showed updates for Chipsets and AHCI controllers. That is why. Also my laptop's harddrive failed completely and I had to get a new one. I then did a clean install of Windows 8 Enterprise. I can't play games like FIFA Manager 13 because I need Hardware Graphics Acceleration. I do have a AMD Radeon 6450 (I think) however I can't get catalyst control center and it doesn't even show up in Device Manager. I have a HP G6-1210TX Please help? :( | har (16834) | ||
| 1341570 | 2013-05-29 09:44:00 | Why can't you get catalyst control centre? On HP's website try h10025.www1.hp.com On AMD's try support.amd.com I found this in about 2 mins by googling the model number you posted. It's an HP laptop so HP's website is the first place to start. |

| 1341571 | 2013-05-31 02:59:00 | I got it from the HP website and installed it. It installed but it won't open Catalyst Control as it says there is nothing to configure. I tried to install it using the Update Driver option under Device Manager but that didn't work either. I went to the AMD website and downloaded the software and it said I have incompatible hardware. I haven't tried the game yet. I'll see if that at least is working. | har (16834) | ||
