| 1341257 | 2013-05-14 03:31:00 | I have reinstalled Windows on my laptop. Now, every time I close the lid the laptop closes down. I do not want it to do that. Could someone please tell me how to switch that off, please. Thanks. |

( different versions have the options in different locations) from Memory Depending on the version - there is an option under the Power Options in the control panel somewhere there is the options to change what happens when the Lid is closed. On my W7 On the Left is "Choose What Closing the lid Does" |
