| 1340716 | 2013-05-11 06:47:00 | The latest version of Skype for osx can be a bit flakey, Skype won't recognise webcam if some other app had used it and not closed down. This is a Skype problem not osx. There have been other issues with the latest release but yours sounds like a connection problem unless its the same machine | plod (107) | ||
| 1340717 | 2013-05-11 07:08:00 | Is it from the same Mac, just dual-booting? What version of OSX? Not sure of the osx version but will find out. My neighbour can Skype me with no problems and I have Windows 7. She can also Skype another friend who also has a Microsoft System but she cannot Skype any friends who have an Apple computer as the Video drops out immediately, however the sound is ok. Thanks for your interest |

| 1340718 | 2013-05-11 08:34:00 | Skype is possibly the buggiest piece of software available for any platform. Period. You should test against multiple systems of the same OS (ie 2 different macs, 2 different pcs) to determine if it is an OS related problem or not. It could also be a configuration problem but chances are it's just Skype being crap. | icow (15313) | ||
