2012-12-04 18:59:00 | Pref either West Auckland or out Howick way.......(They go over that way a lot) Most likely a reinstall needed, retrieve data, install O/S again, install software. Also any future tech issues. For reasons I'm not going into I am not being this persons tech anymore.....

2012-12-04 20:29:00 | Sorry pctek slightly confused as to your request... Is this a request for a Full Time Tech? I was under the impression you were searching for work? :\ | lordnoddy (3645) | |
2012-12-04 20:58:00 | The last sentence explains it all. It seems like a person that pctek use to fix a computer for has problems, but pctek doesn't want to fix it anymore as per the last sentence. So that is why she is asking the question. :)

Sorry for misread pctek. By the sounds of the job description I'm not surprised you no longer want to do it :p |

2012-12-04 22:19:00 | Not at all. It's a reinstall........it's just as a sort of friend, I'm best not her tech anymore. She may or may not need future stuff, so just asking for recommendations really, if it was Wellington it would be easy.....but who's doing this stuff here that's any good? I know Speedy does some things....wrong area really though....

2012-12-04 22:50:00 | I'm more curious to know why you're turning down a job? Personal falling out? Or are they the kind of person who doesn't pay after the job or something? :p | Chilling_Silence (9) | |
2012-12-05 00:56:00 | Personal falling out? To avoid the above before it happens . She spent quite some time not backing it up, while I nagged her to do it . It has business stuff on it . She has an external drive . I don't know if she has yet, I did get the urgency of it across in the end though . Plus the O/S is unstable now . . . . . . it's asking for trouble . Of course, taking advice from professional techs is one thing, your mate . . . well, they can just say, well I know you said, but . . . . . <wave magic wand and make it all better> . See? I don't want to go there . I'm not bringing the subject up again with her cause I probably would end up in an argument . She was waiting on getting the install disks for some of the sw before going ahead with the reinstall . No, she does pay .

2012-12-05 01:04:00 | Ah, all good :) I would, I'm out west, but I've got a *lot* on between now and Christmas... That and to be honest I like my personal time in the evenings, unless they're paying over a hundred an hour ;)
